Sickle Cell Disorder is the term used to describe a group of
inherited blood disorders that affect the haemoglobin in red
blood cells. The three main types of SCDs are:
I only know a little about Haemoglobin SC and Sickle Beta Thalassaemia,
but not enough to give you a concise definition of what they are.
Of course I know mostly about what I have had all my life. Any
information which may be included about Sickle Cell will not be
from my knowledge.
