I first created this site as a hobby, as I was experimenting with creating web pages. The site then developed and provided a way to explain about Sickle Cell and how I was feeling.

The main content of the site remains unchanged since 2003, however, I still attend hospital every 6 weeks for transfusions and have had a couple admissions since.
